About Us
We have loved dogs, among other creatures, all of our lives, however our venture
that began many years ago, into the world of Champion Show Danes has been a very
fun and eventful experience. We are members of the Great Dane Club of America and the Mississippi State Kennel Club, we also are
chair of several committees for the Christmas Classic Cluster Dog Shows in Jackson,
Mississippi, and we participate in local dog events like Responsible Dog Ownership
events in the area. Our pinnacle, so far, has been establishing the
Dogs
Need Homes. . . and sometimes cats weekly e-newsletter, where
we sponsor dogs. . . and sometimes cats (occasionally horses and birds too) for
our local animal shelters in central MS. We showcase these pets that are in dire
need of homes and then put nice and loving folks in touch with the shelters to adopt
these sweet homeless babies. It has been a great success and assisted many people
in their adoption process.
Great Danes are our passion and we greatly enjoy displaying their beauty in conformation
shows, their obedience in public, as well as their gentle "greatness" as we travel
and meet new people. Great Danes are like no other breed that we have ever had.
They are loving, gentle, and at times pretty silly. We do not have Danes because
they are a novelty; we have them because we love them. Each one owns a special part
of our heart, and always will. We are not a large kennel that houses many dogs who
have their own staff (how nice would a staff be?). We are a family who loves our
dogs. They all live in our home and are part of our family. It is the only way that
we can really enjoy their individual personalities and properly earn their trust.
All of our Great Danes have graduated from obedience classes and some with "Top
Dog" honors, we also have CGC (Canine Good Citizenship) and TDI (Therapy Dog International)
titles. As you can see from the pictures on the following pages, we not only show
our dogs in the conformation ring, we also do a lot of fun activities with them.
We strive to develop true specimens of the breed. We aim to produce dogs that gracefully
combine the Great Dane's naturally gentle temperament, personality, and intelligence,
and we choose dogs with a predisposition for longevity. . . and are, not to mention
BEAUTIFUL! I hope by browsing through our website, you will come to know a little
about our family, but mostly about Great Danes as a member of the family. Great
