Mugger is a dog who is well known for his bone, substance, and breed type. He is
also the brother / littermate to our "Zander," MacDanes
Ladies Think I'm Hot.
Mugger started his show career big...he debuted at 7 months old taking Reserve Winners
Dog & Best Puppy in Show at the GDCC Specialty Show. Then, he finished big...winning
a huge 5 point major (with an entry of 96 Danes), taking Winners Dog and Best of
Winners at the Kachina / Goodyear shows following his 2nd place finish at the Great
Dane Club of America National in 2006!
Mugger received several Awards of Merit along the way, including Specialty AOMs
and a Specialty BOS at the GDCArizona Specialty.
Mugger is owned and bred by my good friend, Beth Vickrey, of MacDanes in the FL

Funny Story
Beth (Mugger's owner) always told him that he could have a "girlfriend" after
he got his championship. Well, he apparently took her literally because when Mugger
was taking his win photo right after receiving his championship, he broke loose
from his handler and mounted Leila right there in the ring!!! She wasn't even in
season! Funny boy! Who knew that one year later they would actually make acquaintances
again on the romantic island of No Name Key, FL, where they conceived the litter
with Moose & Sunny. They had a very hot relationship!

Bob and Gert are from the Mugger x Libby breeding, whelped on November 26, 2006.
Bob and Gertie are bred and owned by Anette Brill of Capdanes, in Southern California.
